WEDNESDAY'S FASHION ICON: EMMA STONE

Emma Stone empezó a actuar cuando cuando era chica, como miembro del Teatro de la juventud en Phoenix, Arizona, donde debutó con la producción teatral 'The wind in the willows'. Durante la adolescencia apareció en más producciones hasta que a los 15 años dedicarse a la actuación profesionalmente.
Se mudó a Los Ángeles con su madre para continuar con sus estudios y conseguir audiciones. Sus primeros trabajos fueron para la televisión, hasta que debutó en el cine con la comedia Supersalidos (2007). Le siguieron Un rockero de pelotas (2008), Paper Man (2009),Bienvenidos a Zombieland (2009) y Rumores y mentiras (2010).
Después de personajes en comedias Stone supo asombrar al público, a la Academia de Cine y al jurado de festivales de la industria con su interpretación en el drama Criadas y señoras (2011). Fue su carta de presentación en Hollywood para protagonizar el remake de la superproducciónThe Amazing Spider-man (2012) con el personaje principal de Gwen Stacy.
Stone mantiene una relación con el actor Andrew Garfiled desde 2011, a quien conoció durante el rodaje de The Amazing Spider-man. Es gran amiga de Mila Kunis y de Taylor Swift. Sus ídolos son Gilda Radner y Diane Keaton. Tiene ascendencia sueca.

Stone began acting as a child as a member of the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in a production of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows". She appeared in many more productions through her early teens until, at the age of 15, she decided that she wanted to make acting her career.

The official story is that she made a PowerPoint presentation, backed by Madonna's "Hollywood" and itself entitled "Project Hollywood", in an attempt to persuade her parents to allow her to drop out of school and move to Los Angeles. The pitch was successful and she and her mother moved to LA with her schooling completed at home while she spent her days auditioning.
She had her TV breakthrough when she won the part of Laurie Partridge in the VH1 talent/reality show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004) which led to a number of small TV roles in the following years.
Her movie debut was as Jules in Super cool (2007) and, after a string of successful performances, her leading role as Olive in Se dice de mí (2010) established her as a star.
